Proposed Flood Hazard Determinations for City of Georgetown

The revised preliminary Flood Insurance Rate Map (FIRM) and Flood Insurance Study (FIS),  dated September 12, 2019, will soon (8/26/20) be in the official 90-day appeals period.  This means that any interested party who wishes to appeal should present scientific or technical data that tend to negate or contradict FEMA’s findings and send it to the following address:
