Hearing on City of Georgetown, SC

FY 2020/2021 Budget and Rate Adjustments

Pursuant to Section 6-1-80 of the S.C. Code of Laws, public notice is hereby given that The Council for The City of Georgetown will hold a public hearing on June 18, 2020 at 5:30 pm. Due to health concerns regarding COVID-19, City Council will be conducting a public hearing & regular meeting via a teleconference.  If you would like give input concerning these items listed for public hearing, you can email publiccomments@georgetownsc.gov or call 843-545-4090 to leave a voice message no later than 12:00pm on Thursday, June 18, 2020. If leaving a voice message, please speak clearly and identify yourself by stating your name, address, and phone number to be recorded correctly.  The audio of the meeting will be live-streamed for the public on the City’s Facebook page at https://www.facebook.com/cityofgtown/

The purpose of the hearing is to allow citizens to express their views regarding the proposed:

• Fiscal Year 2020/2021 Budget.
• Utility rate adjustments for Water and Wastewater.

The operating budget for The City of Georgetown for the upcoming Fiscal Year begins on July 1, 2020.  The regular meeting of City Council will follow.
